“Our room was exceptional. We had dinner, which was beautiful - prawn tian, fish and duck for mains. We feel very lucky to have found this place and we will return.

“The pub itself is really lovely, log fires in the bar and the bedroom, plenty of hot water, nice touches in the room including port, lots of core pods and Bramley organic toiletries. The team working here are exceptional and make the pub and stay over special.”

And then Ortega pulps the rulebook, marrying industrial, art deco, mid-century, and contemporary designs, while its bathroom practically glows with a copper rolltop bath bouncing warm light against painted nudes.
